Category Description
This award is open to any organisation that has built and maintained a partnership with a not-for-profit entity in their community in the UK between 2015 and 2017.
The award will be given to the most innovative, engaged and successful community development partnership scheme which has quantifiably demonstrated how it worked successfully to influence the community, the number of individuals it impacted and if it continues to deliver long-term impacts.
The measurement of relevant activities includes innovation, integration and other impacts that foster improved relations between an organisation and a community group and include measureable benefits for the community group. Judges will consider and reward organisations for managing programmes and projects aimed at improving community services, products and quality of life.
In judging this award, the panel will specifically be looking for quantified details of projects, outcomes, achievements and the effectiveness of what was delivered; evidence of the degree of innovation in scoping and developing the initiative and the overall impact of the project; the use of awareness raising to promote the scheme and details of any third party involvement in delivering the programme.
Criteria
Judges will be looking for evidence of the following points within the supplied application form (weighting percentages in brackets):
- How the project was scoped and developed to set new standards for innovation and creativity as a partnership initiative; (15%)

- The measurement of overall impact on community in real terms: whether the scheme positively influenced change in the community resulting in quantifiable impact on individuals; (40%)
- The scheme’s integrated legacy to ensure ongoing and lasting community benefits once the project is complete; (25%)
