To offer more flexibility and to reduce the emissions of our event, GGA run a ‘hybrid’ ceremony with an in-person event at BMA House, Tavistock Square, London and a live stream around the world to ensure finalists from outside of the UK can still enjoy the celebrations; with virtual winners being displayed on the big screen as the results are announced.
The schedule:
17:00 – 18:00: Sponsors & Judges networking and refreshments
18:00 – 19:00: Drinks reception – A selection of plant-based, biodynamic/sustainable wines and fizz, alcohol-free drinks, Toast Ale + canapes using surplus fruit/veg from Waste Knot
19:15 – 21:00: Global Good Awards ceremony presentations, 3-course plant-based meal, keynote speaker Solitaire Townsend.
21:00 – 22:30: Fun and networking
In-person ceremony tickets includes (information will update as it is confirmed):
- Drinks reception and canapes (biodynamic, organic and sustainable fizz, wines, beer and non-alcoholic drinks)
- Keynote speaker: Solitaire Townsend
- A snappy and entertaining award ceremony
- Seated 3-course dinner, with upgraded wines, beer and non-alcoholic drinks in the Great Hall (served from buffet stations to reduce waste)
- Eco-goodies market stall (instead of unsustainable goodie bags)
- Live music
- Higher Lower Behaviour Change Tournament with prizes to be won (this online game can be played by virtual and in-person guest).

Travel Recommendations: We strongly discourage in-person ceremony bookings from delegates outside of the UK unless you can travel sustainably (offsetting flight emissions does not equate to sustainable travel). Please purchase the virtual tickets below.
Seating Arrangements: For the first time since 2017, the GGA ceremony will be a seated dinner, with the short and lively ceremony being between the starter and main courses.
Multiple tickets purchased will be sat at the same table and for any orders of seven or more, the rest of the table will be made up of judges or sponsors.

Dress Code: We like to call it ‘freshly eco’ – so smart / casual but from a charity shop, back of your wardrobe, pre-loved or borrowed… just nothing new! (and definitely not black-tie!)
