Neoplants: Developing the most air-purifying plant with nature and biotech
Neoplants is purifying the air we breathe by creating the first generation of bioengineered houseplants designed to improve indoor air quality. Ninety percent of our lives is spent indoors, where we breathe in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) linked to cancer, cardiac disease, and respiratory damage. Neo P1 is a Pothos plant, genetically engineered to capture and recycle formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, and xylene – four of the most dangerous VOCs.
