Global Good Awards 2020 open for entries!
Entries are now open for the Global Good Awards 2020 sponsored by CH&Co and Revive. The awards recognise and reward organisations and individuals who are driving change across all aspects of purpose-oriented sustainability and social impact. Companies large and small, social enterprises, start-ups, charities and individuals can enter the awards and have until 28 February to meet the entry deadline.
Two new categories have been introduced for the 2020 edition: the Canon Young Champion of the Year Award and Climate Action of the Year, sponsored by The Planet Mark.
The Canon Young Champion of the Year Award will recognise those who have shown outstanding leadership in campaigning for a good cause around a social or environmental issue. The free-to-enter category will be made up of two classes – Under 16s and Under 21s – and photography/visual imagery is a key criterion. While the Carbon Footprint Reduction of the Year category is open to all organisations taking a considerable step towards becoming carbon neutral or net-positive.
The remaining categories for 2020 are: Global Good Company of the Year, Global Good SME of the Year, Individual Leader of the Year, Community Partnership Awards, Best Education, Employee Engagement & Wellbeing, Environmental Behaviour Change, Sustainable Supply Chain of the Year, Circular Economy, Best Product of the Year, Best Campaign of the Year, Best Start-up Enterprise, Technology for Good, Special Judges Award for Innovation and Special Judges Award for SDGs.
Judges will begin assessing entries in March, with the final shortlist announced live on Twitter on 22 April. The awards ceremony will take place at BMA House in London on 16 June.
At the 2019 event, winners included WSP, UBS, David Miller Architects, Hogan Lovells and Used Kitchen Exchange.
