The National CSR Awards 2017 is proud to announce that this year’s headline sponsor is Revive, the leading range of recycled paper in the UK.
Manufactured across Europe from leading paper mills from varying levels of recycled fibre, Revive offers a number of recycled choices. The superior quality of Revive means that it gives the performance of a virgin fibre product but delivered on a recycled sheet. As well as being FSC chain of custody, EMAS and ISO14001 EMS certified, Revive is Carbon Balanced free of charge. This means that the carbon emissions associated with the manufacture and delivery of the paper are offset.
“We are delighted to support the National CSR Awards 2017 as the headline sponsor. Our focus is to provide sustainable solutions and choices for printed media. Revive, being 100% recycled is also fully carbon balanced and as such is ideal for companies and other organizations to use and dovetail into their own environmental commitments and messaging,” comments Peter Sommerville, Marketing Director of Denmaur Independent Papers, one of the UK’s largest independent paper merchants and owner of the Revive brand.
“We are excited to be a part of this unique awards programme that shines the spotlight on the achievements of organisations across the country and in so many different industries. We look forward to working alongside so many other organisations that are as passionate about sustainability as we are.”
The carbon credits that Denmaur purchases go towards supporting projects owned and managed by the World Land Trust in Vietnam. The Trust counts among its supporters and patrons Sir David Attenborough, David Gower, Steve Backshall and Chris Packham.
World Land Trust Director of Conservation Roger Wilson described Carbon Balancing as, “a very simple way of addressing carbon (emissions) and climate change within the print sector.”
Karen Sutton, CEO and Founder of the National CSR Awards, adds: “We are delighted to have Revive onboard. The brand provides the widest range of recycled paper options on the market today and its ethos fits perfectly with that of the awards.”
