In this, the tenth year of the Global Good Awards, we had another stellar line-up of winners…

On 3rd October, we were super excited to be back at BMA House, to present the trophies for the tenth edition of the Global Good Awards. We’re so grateful to have had the opportunity to celebrate all our winners and finalists for an entire decade, and we’ll continue to trailblaze in recognizing outstanding achievements in sustainability and ethical leadership, focusing on action rather than just aims. As a testament to the power of businesses and individuals working together for a better world, the event once again shone a light on real, impactful solutions to today’s environmental and climate challenges.
The evening featured an incredible keynote speech by the inspiring Solitaire Townsend, who reminded us that we are all solutionists, capable of driving meaningful change. Her words resonated throughout the room, highlighting that every effort, no matter how small, contributes to the larger movement towards a sustainable future.
The awards presented were a celebration of brilliance and innovation across 17 categories. A standout moment of the night came when three companies – DTEK, Hubbub, and Octopus – achieved the remarkable feat of making the podium in two categories each, showcasing their exceptional commitment to sustainability and positive impact. You can see the full list of winners here.
One of the evening’s key takeaways was the shared belief that business can, and should, be a force for good. The diverse entries demonstrated that, despite the global environmental crises we face, there is no shortage of people and businesses fighting to make a difference.
The Canon Young Champion of the Year category, now in its fifth year, also saw four remarkable young leaders being celebrated for their dedication to campaigning for a good cause around a social or environmental issue; you can read more here.
We also took the opportunity to formally launch the inaugural Global Good Finance Awards, which will open for entries at the start of 2025. These industry specific awards will focus on the role that financial institutions play in driving meaningful change.
And, of course, Team GGA will now be looking ahead, ensuring that that 2025 Global Good Awards are back – bigger and better than ever – in February. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
The 2025 Global Good Awards are now open for entries.
The Global Good Awards is an annual programme which recognises companies, organisations, and individuals who are blazing the trail across purpose-driven sustainability, ethical leadership, and community action.
