JLR’s ambitious Global CSR Market Fund seeks to help 5m people around the world by 2020. To date, it has supported 40 projects in >25 countries, benefitting 800,000 people (over 20 individuals for every JLR employee). The Fund actively encourages innovation by using local knowledge that exists in its 160 global markets to inform its activity whilst retaining a supportive centralised governance structure.
Furthermore, CSR projects align with one of three distinct areas that are directly relevant to JLR’s sector and make the most of the unique contribution and skills that JLR employees offer: education and talent, wellbeing and health, and design and technology for social good.
