Actions Speak Louder Than Aims!
The countdown has begun – it’s only two weeks until entries open for the 2022 Global Good Awards!
We are extremely proud to be an awards that lead the way on rewarding actions and change, not aims and targets.
With sustainability now in the mainstream, there’s a new set of targets, pledges and promises on the agenda made at COP26. Time will tell whether their aims will spark the actions needed to mitigate climate change by 2030. But there is no escaping that business has a leading role to play in reaching Net Zero.
Back in 2015, at our inaugural awards ceremony, Tony Juniper said:
“If companies don’t align themselves to purpose-driven sustainability within five years, they won’t be here in ten.”
Since then, the Global Good Awards have celebrated well over 250 winning businesses, charities, individuals and campaigns for their actions – for people, their communities, the planet and their bottom line. In the coming weeks, we will feature the actions and success stories of previous winners of Global Good Awards.
Why You Should Enter the Global Good Awards 2022
The Global Good Awards have held the Gold Standard Awards Trust Mark since 2018 giving assurance to all entrants that we are totally independent, the judging process is transparent and robust, and there are no hidden costs. We also donate £5 or £10 (depending on size of organisation) to Cool Earth from every paid entry in support of their initiatives to reduce deforestation.
Here are more reasons we believe you or your business should enter the Global Good Awards in 2022.
