BMA House ups vegan options
Event planners using sustainable venue and Global Good Awards host, BMA House, can now opt for a menu that is as good for delegates’ health as it is for the planet.
The new Well Grounded package includes a a vibrant Thai yellow curry with crispy tofu, shitake mushroom and green beans, followed by a tasty coconut sago pudding with chia seeds and mango. Afternoon tea-time treats include the venue’s famous Moss Cake, a cake made using spinach.
Taking inspiration from its botanical garden, it has introduced a fresh mint tea break for the afternoon, thus reducing the impact
on the environment by doing away with non-biodegradable tea bags.
The ‘green’ package (priced at £75 + VAT per person) includes room hire, two servings of tea and coffee with mini blueberry muffins, granola bars and fruit, a two-course, plant-based hot fork buffet lunch, a hydration station, afternoon fresh mint tea with vegan cake bites, plus the use of interactive flipcharts to save on paper waste. Soya milk is served at all breaks as standard.
GGA readers can receive a £5 per person discount by quoting ‘GGA’ when booking.
