Breathe easy!
Our ceremony host, BMA House has teamed up with Innovation sponsors Cross River Partnership to produce an inspiring Clean Air Walking Route from King’s Cross to BMA House, which takes you on a much nicer, less polluted walking route off the busy Euston Road.
Research by students from Kings College found that by avoiding Euston Road and taking the quieter streets, pedestrians are exposed to 57% less air pollution, in just under a mile walk.
The lesser known route takes you through Bidborough Street, past Flaxmann Terrace and along the cobbled Woburn Walk.
BMA House will be actively promoting this route to delegates and event bookers as we will be too to our guests attending our ceremony on 19 June.
Laura Jacklin, Business Engagement Officer from Cross River Partnership commented: “Cross River Partnership are pleased to be working with BMA House to develop a clean air walking route to their fantastic venue on Tavistock Square. The new clean air route will encourage staff, members and delegates to take a cleaner, healthier walking route when visiting the BMA, reducing their exposure to air pollution.”
