DVLA drives use of recycled paper
The political future might look a little uncertain right now but one thing’s for sure, when it comes to the paper it’s using, the government is taking a firmer stance and has started to use recycled paper.
Indeed, both the DVLA and the Department for Work and Pensions are now using Revive, the high grade recycled paper, for its customer communications, as are all London governmental agencies. Public Health England is also rumoured to be making the switch.
The benefits for businesses moving over to using recycled paper are many. As well as helping the environment, reducing waste and being economically responsible, it also helps a business promote and show a cleaner, greener image. And with growing pressure from consumers for businesses to be open about where their products come from and how people, animals and the environment have been treated during production – as highlighted in HSBC’s recent report – the ‘green’ credentials of businesses large and small are now critical to an organisation’s reputation and performance.
The Global Good Awards is proud to have Revive as its headline sponsor for the third year running. In 2019, Revive will be adding some new products to the range including packaging and digital print solutions, so watch this space!
Did you know one tonne of recycled paper saves over 31,000 litres of water, 4,100 kilowatts of electricity and at least 13 trees?
