Are you a contender for Good Employer of the Year?
One of our re-named categories for 2019 – Good Employer of the Year – is sure to be hotly contested. Does your organisation look after its people? Are you already noted for being a good place to work?
E.ON came to our attention recently. In Germany, it’s been named ‘Best Place to Learn’, the ‘seal of approval’ for training companies. In 2019, around 1300 young people will be given the opportunity at E.ON to get off to a good start in their careers via its young apprentice, trainee, dual student and graduate programmes.
Caroline Elwart, training coordinator at Essen, says: “Right from the start, we want to offer our apprentices the best possible conditions for successful and sustainable learning. For us, investing in the training of committed young people also means actively counteracting the lack of qualified personnel.”
What are you doing?
