Hubbub’s Neat Streets Campaign was a 5-month social experiment which tested innovative ways of preventing litter on Villiers Street in Central London, using current best thinking on behaviour change and awareness raising from around the world.
The project combined a series of creative and innovative initiatives including a photo gallery of local people (My Street is Your Street), chewing gum artwork (Peppermint Pointillism), noisemaking bins (Talking Rubbish), a voting bin (Ballot Bin), street actors (The Naked Bin Men) and campaigns specifically targeting chewing gum and cigarette butts.
