GGA 2023 – The Purpose Summit

TURNING PURPOSE INTO IMPACT – AT PACE AND AT SCALE

Thursday 12 October – BMA House, London (and virtual)

In a bid to deliver more purposeful impact at our celebratory events, we decided to replace our traditional awards ceremony with something rather more ambitious – and relevant to today’s business challenges.

So now there will be not one, but two events:

A free virtual ceremony to announce the winners:

Winners will be unveiled on 12th July at 13:00 BST (UK) via a free virtual ceremony, open to all, worldwide.

A full day and evening showcasing ‘what GOOD looks like’:

On 12th October, we will team up with The Crowd for The Purpose Summit – a day of insight, advice and bright ideas. You’ll be inspired by experienced business leaders and Global Good Award winners, learning how they have turned purpose-led strategies into action, and take part in interactive sessions revealing how change happens.

This will be followed by an invitation-only ‘Winners’ Dinner’ for winners, judges and sponsors.

You can find the full agenda with all the sessions, along with speaker line-up as it unfolds, at: www.purposesummit.co.uk

Who is the event for?

In a complete contrast to a traditional awards ceremony, where the event is purely for its finalists, the Purpose Summit is very much for any business keen to make an impact, especially those that entered this year or any year previously and may not have made it to the shortlist or the podium. Why? Because it’s clear that you’re making a huge effort towards a more sustainable planet, otherwise why would you have entered?

What happens if we win a GGA?

If your organisation wins GOLD in any of the 2023 categories, you will be asked to take part in one of our ‘Listen & Learn’ or ‘Interactive Workshop’ sessions at the Summit. This is your chance to share your insights and experience that earned you the Gold Award: what worked, what didn’t, what were the biggest challenges, and what best practices you can share to help other organisations make a positive impact – faster, and at scale.

You will be joined on the session by specialists and leaders from business, along with one of GGA’s expert judges. You will have two months to liaise with our team and the other speakers to prepare for the session.

To attend in-person, speakers must be UK based, or able to travel to our event sustainably due to our no-fly policy.

What is the cost to attend?

You will receive one free ‘speaker’ ticket if you win gold. Further tickets can be purchased here. All entrants receive a 20% discount off tickets, using code ‘GGAPURPOSE202320’ and if you’d like to take advantage of the Early Bird Discount (before 31st July), we’ll refund the speaker ticket when the winners are announced.

Who can attend the Winners' Dinner?

2023 GGA winners (gold, silver, bronze, One-To-Watch), all awards and summit sponsors, and GGA judges.
