Dress Code

Russell Square on the Piccadilly Line is the closest tube station – just a 3-4 minute walk away. Kings Cross station is about a ten minute walk. Please use postcode WC1H 9JZ on Tavistock Square. While on your way, don’t forget to post on Instagram using our handle @GlobalGoodAward or on LinkedIN by typing @Global Good Awards. Don’t forget to use the #GlobalGood hashtag!

NB: The event is NOT ticketed. On arrival, please enter through the Courtyard gates and sign-in with our GGA team. The main reception will be closed. All delegate names are logged in our events registration app. Any name changes, please notify karen@GlobalGoodAwards.co.uk within 24hrs of the start of the event.

It will be opened at 00:01 on the 24th Sept and you can play just ONCE. Those tied at the top will be contacted after the event to compete in a 48hr play off! The link is HERE.

VIRTUAL GUESTS (scroll up for in-person guests)

If you are a finalist and have booked virtual tickets, it’s important that you log in on time, as our team will need to identify you in case you are a winner.

The live stream will run from approx. 19:00 – 20:20 and will be the whole ceremony but you’ll need to login around 18:45 to do a technical check with our tech team to ensure everything is working OK.

The joining link IS HERE

IMPORTANT ‘TEAMS’ JOINING INSTRUCTIONS

  • FINALISTS: Join the Teams link NO LATER than 18:45 BST (you won’t need to remain on camera all the time – just until we identify you – you can return for the start of the ceremony at 19:00. All other guests can join just before 19:00.
  • Enter the meeting via a browser as a guest, NOT a Teams account if you have one.
  • Name yourself as the FIRST company name listed as the finalist, not your own name (unless you are up for Young Champion or Individual Leader). You can find this here.
  • Upon arrival, there’ll be a reminder of your instructions as a slide on the screen.
  • Keep an eye on the chat feature in case our events team contact you directly.

AUDIO & CAMERAS

Ensure your cameras are on (there will be no audio – it’ll be muted our end) as, during the prelims at 19:00, you’ll be displayed all together on screen to the live audience. Then you’ll only be spotlighted again if you are announced as a winner, so the in-person guests can celebrate with you (again, there will be no audio so do be animated!) 😊

If it’s impossible to identify the winner to spotlight, the whole virtual audience (in tile format) will be displayed. You’ll know when you are live on screen, as you’ll see the big screen on the live feed!
