About the Global Good Finance Awards

Bringing finance and sustainability together as one…

The Global Good Finance Awards (GGFA) brings finance and sustainability together as one, shining the light on those who are leading a just transition to a sustainable future.

The finance sector faces significant challenges in addressing the climate and nature crisis, but it also holds the power and influence to drive meaningful change. Harnessing this potential is essential to overcoming the crisis. Run as part of our main GGAs, this series of categories is aimed specifically at the finance sector, designed to focus attention on its role in meeting those challenges, and spotlighting those who are already responding to it, in a way which encourages others to follow their example.

GGFA is aimed at any organisation that is serious about catalysing finance’s potential to do good, including:

  • Banks (Retail, Commercial, Investment, Charity) and building societies

  • Investment (Wealth Management, Private Equity, Investors, Fund/Asset Management)

  • Financial products (eg Bonds, ISAs)

  • Insurance

  • Recipient organisations of impact investments

  • Fintech

  • Financial communications

  • Transition Finance

  • Professional services for the finance sector:- such as consultants, accountancy and tax advisors, law.

“I have been to a variety of awards ceremonies across loads of sectors and this one stands out as having the very highest standards of integrity. Everything is carefully considered, from the plant-based menu to the dress code, the carbon footprint of travel to beautifully crafted awards made from recycled materials. Most importantly though, the GGAs have an incredible group of judges who have to dig into detail of entries and really justify why they pick winners. A tough job. Congratulations, you’ve created something utterly brilliant, built a community, and built a movement.”
